It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Olofson of Garretson, South Dakota, born in Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on May 27, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Olaf Olofson and Edith Olofson (Hammerstrom); his wife Joyce Bult; and his half-sister Arla Green. He is survived by: his children, Steve Olofson (Laura) of Lonsdale, MN, Leon Olofson (Michelle) of Garretson, SD, Karen Olofson and Gary Weeden of Sioux Falls, SD.; his grandchildren, Colten Olofson, Jared Olofson, Sydney Olofson, Hayden Olofson, Allison Weeden and Easton Weeden; his sister Carol Harris of Tuscumsbia, AL; his friend Marilyn Steadman; and his close friends, Irvin Schreurs, Gary Weeden and Becky Nelson.
