She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester E. Pfantz and Mabel J. Pfantz (Anderson); her husband Donald Powell; her son Daniel Powell; and her sisters, Dolores and Lois.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Powell (Lynda), Susan Powell McKenna and Jasper; her daughter-in-law Mary Beth Powell Wiesner (Mark); her grandchildren, Samuel Powell (Brianna), Joshua Powell (Taylor), Cassidy Fairbanks (Chase), Stephanie Rauscher, Nichole Wallin and Luverne; and her great grandchildren, Millie, Josie Fairbanks, Bodie and Colie Powell.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Minnehaha Funeral Home (101 Leslie Dr, Garretson, SD 57030). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
