He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Gross and Margaret Gross; his wife Donna Hanson; his siblings, Marjorie Lyng, Robert (Bob) and Paul Gross; and his brother-in-law Gordon Lyng.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Holzapfel (Charlie) and Mike Gross (Mary); his grandson Justin Holzapfel (Mandy) of Redwood Falls, MN; and his great grandchildren, Keegan and Hadley Holzapfel.
