He is survived by: his wife Beverly McClain of Garretson; his children, Tammy Burke (Michael) of Rapid City, Brian McClain of Garretson and Angela Perkins (Scott) of Sioux Falls; his grandchildren, Alexander Perkins, Emily Burke, Colin Perkins and Alyssa Burke; his great grandchild Carson Perkins-Morrison; his siblings, Milo McClain (Diane) of Lynd, Richard McClain of Marshall and Judy Eischens (Dennis) of Canby; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Jensen of Madison, Jane Flinn (Greg) of Montevideo and Harold Kruckman (Diane) of Montevideo. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
