He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Lutz and Ruth Lutz (Jones); and his siblings, Melvin, Robert, Tom and Esther.
He is survived by: his former wife Barbara Wolf; his wife Grateful; his daughter Barbara; and his grandchildren, Trish Bouwman (Paul), Deb Hanson (Gary), Marcia Lachnit (Mike), Sandra Friedrichs (Mark) and Doug Lutz (Martha). He is also survived by 28 great grandchildren.
