With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cynthia Rae Lesko of Garretson, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 13, 2025 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Cynthia Rae may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Beatrice "Bea" Sleeth and George Sleeth; and her brother Paul Sleeth. She is survived by: her daughter Madeline "Maddy" Lesko (Lucas Wallace); her husband Christopher Lesko; her daughter Katie Lesko; her granddaughter Iralyn Rae Lesko-Wallace; her siblings, Robert "Bob" Sleeth and Barbera "Barb" Hammond (Bryan); her niece Miranda Brandt (Adam); and her nephew Chan Kern. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends she loved.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the George Boom Funeral Home (3408 E 10th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103).
