He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Bauer and Elizabeth Bauer (Lang); and his brother-in-law Bill Kaus. He is survived by: his wife Darlene; his children, Cindy Price (Gary) of Hobbs, NM, Mark Bauer (Amy Fischer) and Steve Bauer (Jennifer) of Rapid City, SD; his grandchildren, Brianna Veurink, Shelby Bobbit (Jesse) of Pullman, WA, Chris Bauer (Ravyn) of Spokane, WA, Shawn Bauer of Rapid City, SD, Cody Fischer, Carter and Elly Fischer of Freeman, SD; his great grandchildren, Marlee Veurink, Emma Veurink and Romie Bobbit; his sister-in-law Jeanette Kaus; and also, Les Diffin and Don Herman. He is also survived by two nephews, one niece; two very special friends.
