He is survived by: his wife Darlene Rahskopf of Warner, S. D.; his children, Lona, Douglas, Doug, Kipp Geranen (Lisa) and Kelly Mitzel (John); his grandchildren, Travis Geranen (Anlee), Tyler Geranen (Michaela), Shonci Kramer (Pete), Tanner Geranen, Marcus Mitzel (Lauren), Luke Mitzel (Katie), Joseph Mitzel (Alison), Thomas Mitzel, Margaret Mitzel, Peter Mitzel, Nicholas Mitzel, Dane Gruebele, Rachel Darlene Gruebele, Lauren Geranen and Jesse James Geranen; his great grandchildren, Chase, Devyn Geranen, Michael, Lincoln, Jessyn Geranen, Weston and Zoey Kramer; his brothers, Dayton Geranen (Connie) and Dennis Geranen; his sister-in-law Cynthia Geranen; and his close friend Nikki Meidinger.
