She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Hinkle and Rose Hinkle (Swartz); her husband Paul H. Schumm; and her sons, Paul Schumm II and LeRoy Schumm.
She is survived by: her daughter Joyce Brummett of Frankfort, SD; her stepchildren, Tom, John, Carroll, Sam, Leo Simons, Marjorie Littlefield, Roseanne Bernard, Judith Minnich and Laura Simon; her grandchildren, Leah Carnes of Herington, KS, Lori Pearson of Elizabethtown, NC, Lonny Brummett of Lebanon, OR, Dee Strob of Evans, GA, Dianne Grover of Rapid City, SD, Stacey Minnich of Tulsa, OK, David Simons of Edgemont, SD, Sonja Turner of Quincy, IL, Paul Schumm III of Quincy, IL and Zeke Schumm of Alexandria, SD.; and her great grandchildren, Amanda Freeman, Melissa Holloman, Virginia Huggard, Miranda Carnes, Moriah Carnes, Gabriella Carnes, Geno Carnes and Nicholas Strob. She is also survived by 23 great-great-grandchildren and 21 step great-great-grandchildren.
