Walking; his stepchild Ly11ette; his sons, Allery Nelson (Summer Dawn), Dominic Walking Eagle (Jasmine), Destin and Loudner; his stepchildren, Lynette Walking Eagle of Fort Thompson, SD and Orville Walking Eagle of Colorado; his adoptive daughter Suki Comes Flying of Fort Thompson, SD; his sister Edith Stinking Thigh of Pierre, SD.; his nephews, Jason and Marvin; his niece Dorcas Quilt; his children, Sam Jr., Russell, Ronnie, Rhonda, Roberta and Raymond Thigh; and his stepdaughter Melanie May.
