Matthew Joseph Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Joseph of Fort Thompson, South Dakota, who passed away on December 27, 2023, at the age of 37, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Kelley St. John and Lorie Ann Seeking Land; his brothers, Jacob Seeking Land and Josh Seeking Land (Brittney); his grandmother Carole Seeking Land; and his aunts and uncles, Christina "Mama Bumper" Seeking Land, Gregory "Bim" Seeking Land, Bonnie St. John, Brenda St. John, Sandra Sepulveda, Glenda St. John, Mary St. John, Odell "Muggs" St. John, Jim St. John, Kevin St. John and Cheryl Susie Voice. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and dear friends.

He led and protected our People through a worldwide pandemic and numerous challenges.
