With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph J. McBride of Fort Thompson, South Dakota, who passed away on January 16, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Joseph find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sr. Crowe and Evelyn "Ethel" Crowe; his stepfather Hank Goodface; his daughter Rhonda Koepp; and his sister Carol.
He is survived by: his children, Tara, Peeper, Bobi, Allysa, Austin and Terry. He is also survived by many grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and many of his good friends.
A procession will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Hickey Funeral Home (215 S Main St, Chamberlain, SD 57325). A wake will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Diamond Willow Ministries (22850 N Shore Rd, Fort Thompson, SD 57339). A burial will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
