She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leon Kirkie Sr. and Laura Mae Shoots; her close friend Judy; her children, Robyn Hawk of Lodgepole, MT, Roxie Estes, Kristal Hawk, Melva Rank, Melita "Chepa" Rank (Patrick Engels) of Fort Thompson, SD, Kirk "Bud" Hawk of Belle Plaine, MN, Mel Rank, Larry Rank of Fort Thompson, SD, John Daly (Shannon) of Pukwana, SD and Julie Daly of Castle Rock, CO; her brothers, Richard Kirkie (Doris) and Melby Kirkie of Fort Thompson, SD; her husband Melvin; her children, Karen Will, Linda Volesky, Darcy Rank, Marty Rank and Jay Hawk; her grandchildren, Shiloh Rank, Cody Wade, Tyler St. John and Liam Rank; her great grandchild Xavier; her sister-in-law Judy Kirkie; and her siblings, Rita Maryls Kirkie, Ron Kirkie, Menia Mann, Leon Kirkie Jr., Florence Marquez, Mavis Kirkie, Kristal Kirkie and Ivy Head. She was also cherished by 54 grandchildren, 113 great grandchildren, and 23 great-great grandchildren.
