We are sad to announce that on March 7, 2025, at the age of 51, Daniel I Rabbit of Fort Thompson, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arliss M Rabbit (Metcalf) and Wesley E. Rabbit Sr.; his siblings, Elsie M. Metcalf, Travis S. Rabbit and Carla A. L. Rabbit Schunk; his grandparents, Theodore Metcalf Sr., Elsie Metcalf (Oakiye), Philip Rabbit and Florence Grassrope (Young); and his daughter Ellen Louis Rabbit.

He is survived by: his siblings, Wesley Rabbit Jr. of Fort Thompson, SD, Adrienne (Wayne) and Gwen Williams (Lanny) of Fort Thompson, SD.; his children, Danielle Longstad, Shawna Rabbit, Daniel Berg, Shaniece Berg, Ivy Berg, Tyson Rabbit, Laliyah Rabbit, Precious Rabbit, Arliss Longchase and Elsie Metcalf; and his grandsons, George Emerson Baldwin (Rabbit) and Theodore Daniel Spanier.
