He was predeceased by: his parents, Elzie Rathbun and Agnes Rathbun; his siblings, Frank, Gerald "Jay", Mary, Delores, Louise, Emily, Josephine and Edith; his brothers-in-law, Terry, Jack Soesbe and Jerry Hawkins; and his grandson Tyler Rathbun.
He is survived by: his wife Abbie Soesbe; his children, Brad Rathbun (Mindy), Carla Bruning (Tom Winter), Carl Rathbun (Lorri) and Anne Rathbun; his parents-in-law, Sheryl Hawkins, Rod, Judy Soesbe, Cherie Soesbe and Suzette Adams; and his grandchildren, Carisa (Aaron), Curt (Cynthia), Corey (Kara), Jennifer, Josh (Amanda), Abbie (Thomas), Nicole (Colby), Ashley (Greg), Carlie, Rayleen (Nick), Jordain, Lindee and Kaycee. He is also survived by thirty great-grandchildren; countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
