With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Len Sheppard of Fort Pierre, South Dakota, born in Pierre, South Dakota, who passed away on June 8, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Sheppard and Ethel Sheppard; his former wife Patricia Sheppard; his brothers, Don and Larry Sheppard; his stepdaughter LeAnn; and his great grandchild Azlyne Graves.
He is survived by: his former wife Patricia O'Halloran; his wife Sandy; his children, Stephen Sheppard (Teresa), Susan Ridgway (Joseph Ridgway), Don Sheppard (Eric), Linda Fridley (Kevin) and Joan Gonzalez (Rodrigo); his stepchildren, Roxann Sundermeyer, Denise Richards, Karl (Tatum), Thad Nafziger and Jodi (Brevin); and his brother Jim Sheppard. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and two sisters in law.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorials directed to the 'Honor Flight' PO Box 22 Sioux Center, IA 51250 of South Dakota.
