He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Stewart and Helen Stewart (Melmer). He is survived by: his siblings, Dennis Dean Stewart (Mary) of Pierre, Shannon Stewart (Marlene) of Eaton, CO and Shirley Barber (Mark) of Onida. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
