He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Chilson and Anna Chilson (Ohnstad); his wife June Margaret Boyd; his brothers, Arnold and Leonard Chilson (Elsie); and his sister-in-law Carolyn Boyd.
He is survived by: his sons, Randy Chilson of Florence, SD, Steven Chilson (Sherisse) of Watertown, SD and Lynn Chilson of Canton, SD; his grandchildren, Tanner Chilson and Corbin Chilson; and his brother-in-law Rev. James Allen Boyd of La Grange, TX. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, great and great-great nieces and nephews.
