He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Hofer and Rebecca Hofer; his siblings, Rebecca and Daniel; his father-in-law Jonathan Wipf Sr.; and his brother-in-law Jonathan Wipf Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Susan Hofer (Wipf) of Fairview Colony; his children, Jonathan (Lisa), Joni, Lydia, Karter, Jonah, Kady, Michelle (Samuel), Cameron Colony, Simon, Nolan, Lucas (Marissa), Talia, Micaiah, Macy, Adam, Daniel (Elizabeth), Suzanne, Oakley and Ava; his siblings, Shirley Waldner (George), Spring Prairie, Hilda Tschetter (Edward), Harold Hofer (Lena), Paulina Waldner (John), Hutterville, Tim Hofer (Susan) of Custer, WA, Mike Hofer (Debbie), Willie Hofer (Kristi) of Fargo, ND, Maryann Stahl (Johnny), Platte Colony, Helen Waldner (Tom), Huttervile, Leah Tschetter (Zack) and George Hofer (Naomi); and his mother-in-law Susanna Wipf (Wollman). He is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law.
