We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2022, at the age of 47, Shawn A. Shortman Sr. of Flandreau, South Dakota, born in Havre, Montana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Darlyne M. Shortman and Frank Iron Shooter; his brother Vincent Pablo; and his cousin Winona "Winnie" Williams. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Shortman (Montgomery); his children, Isaiah James of Livingston, ND, Jordan Zollie, Dalyn Noah of Sioux Falls, SD, Justis Andrew of Brookings, SD, Shawn August Jr. of Flandreau, Veronica Erin of Flandreau and Jake Wyatt of Flandreau; and his siblings, Diane Higley (Eric) of Heyburn, ID, Birdie Ukestine (Loren) and Shelby Shortman (Jennifer). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, many aunts, one uncle and many cousins.
