He was predeceased by : his parents, Lloyd Duncan and Alene Duncan (Othmer); his sister Chris; his father-in-law Lowell Wilts (Ole); and his brother-in-law Stephen Dailey (PV).

He is survived by : his wife Brenda (Wilts); his daughters, Angela Hobbie (Austin), Krista Reed (Ryan), Calla Smith (Tyler) and Kendra Duncan; his grandchildren, Braylon, Tanner, Ayva, Haevyn, Adley and Josephine; his siblings, Tom (Carole), Ann (Tom) and Jason; his mother-in-law Carol Wilts; and his in-laws, Sharon, Pam (Bill), Randy (Judy), Steve and Peggy (Gene). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Skroch Funeral Chapel (409 E 2nd Ave, Flandreau, SD 57028). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Simon and Jude Catholic Church (105 S Bates St, Flandreau, SD 57028).
