She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Petersen and Nina Petersen (Lee); her husband Lonnie Thielsen; her son Brad Thielsen; her siblings, Fred Petersen and Harriet Whitesell; and her brothers-in-law, Gary Nass, Neil Whitesell and Joe Dechiro.
She is survived by: her son Brian Thielsen (April); her daughter-in-law Becky Ness (Thielsen) of Minneapolis, MN; her siblings, Don Petersen (Carol), Dorothy Dechiro, Doug Petersen (Susie) and Helen Nass (Ron Hexum); her grandchildren, Aaron Thielsen (Bethany), Travis Thielsen (Richelle Browne), Tyler Thielsen (Christa), Anissa Reko (Roope), Kara Deeth (DJ), Melissa Giannelli (Evan) and Lee Schenkel (Maggie); and her grandson-in-law Chad Boetger. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
