He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry T. Jepsen and Anna Jepsen (Vockrodt); his grandchildren, Kelly Jo Landis, Chad Johnson and DaLyn Johnson; and his siblings, Bobby, Dorothy "Dode" McRae and Betty "Betz" Erickson.
He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Johnson (Dale), Jo Landis (Tom), Jim Jepsen (Susan), Mary Lynn Headrick (Mike) and Lisa Knutson (Merlin); his grandchildren, Stacey Jo Landis of Sioux Falls, Andrea Hemmer (Scott) of Dell Rapids, Daron Johnson of Sioux Falls, Amber Hoffman (Mark) of Flandreau, Drew Headrick (Jen) of Colman, Jared Johnson of Sioux Falls, Wes Jepsen (Leah) of Baltic, Kimberly Niemann (Kyle) of Sioux Falls, Kelsey Cosand (Drew) of Sioux Falls and Katelyn Fiegen (Ben) of Sioux Falls; his great grandchildren, Tathan, Karter, Ryker, Connor, Fallyn Headrick, Ethan, Ella, Evan Hoffman, Anya, Quinn Hemmer, Tegan, Brayden Johnson, Natalie, Arthur, George Niemann, Jace Jepsen, Ellie and Theodore Cosand; and his sisters, Delila Davis of Brookings, Joyce Furubotten (Jim) of Pasco, WA and Jackie Davis (Gordy) of Bovey, MN. He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law.
