He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his children, Steve Bauer (Jody) of Brookings, SD, Bruce Bauer (Marci) of Flandreau, Deb Johnson (Rick) of Flandreau, Renae Scofield of Flandreau, Tammie Kneebone (David) of Flandreau, Tim Bauer of Spearfish, Julie Schweigert (Bob Duerfeldt) of Gregory, SD and Mindy Faber (Dennis) of Sioux Falls; and his brother Clarence Bauer (Darlene). He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.
