He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Lambert and Lois Carpenter Lambert; his wife Marion Paulette; and his siblings, E. Clair and Eloise Moon.

He is survived by: his children, David (Virginia) of Mitchell, SD, Todd (Michele) of Sioux Falls, SD and Teresa Nelson (Jason) of Geddes, SD; and his brothers, Neil of Colorado, Merlyn of Colorado and Darrell of Texas. He is also survived by five grandchildren; one great grandchild.
