Verne J. Hansen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verne J. Hansen of Faulkton, South Dakota, who passed away on June 3, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Dale and Mary Ann Hansen (McLean) of Gettysburg; and his siblings, Dale Curtis Hansen, Dean Hans Hansen, Kaylene Ann Hansen and Karen Ray Hansen-Whitcomb.
He is survived by: his wife Mickie Louise Hansen (Bierman); his sons, Wade Jay Hansen (Domonique) of Denver, CO, Ward John Hansen (Theresa) of Chicago, IL and Jess Leonard Hansen of Faulkton; and his sister Connie May Hansen-Edris of Little Flock, Arkansas. He is also survived by his five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
His notable achievements were his contributions to the Faulkton Inn Motel, the new Autumn Leaves Senior Citizens building, and the Faulkton Area Medical Center.
