With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley M. Stoecker of Faulkton, South Dakota, who passed away on February 4, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Justina (Schweigert) and William Moser. She is survived by: her husband Loven Stoecker; her children, Jeff Stoecker (Carole) of Onaka, SD, Perry Stoecker (Kris) of Onaka, SD, Linda Arbach (Bob) of Pierre, SD and Shelly Langbehn (Terry) of Oologah, OK; her sisters, Irene Heinrich of Elk Grove, CA and Violet Bronson of Sioux Falls, SD; her grandchildren, Matt Stoecker (Rachael) of Harrisburg, SD, Jeremy Stoecker (Chantel) of Onaka, Darin Stoecker (Marissa) of Onaka, Kelli Stoecker of Onaka, Trent Arbach (Amanda), Tyler Arbach (Rachel) of Pierre, Nathan Langbehn of Crooks, SD, Braden Langbehn of Stillwater, OK and Ben Stoecker of Faulkton; her children, Vicki Sue and Kelly James; and her siblings, Lydia Gehring, Helen Schultz, Clara Stoecker, Mildred Smith, Edna Scholl, Milbert and Edwin. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Lien Funeral Home (3082 2nd Ave, Bowdle, SD 57428). A prayer was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Tolstoy Methodist Church.
