She was predeceased by: her parents, Monty Fogel and Mary Fogel (Hammrich); her daughter Susan Melius; her siblings, Monty "Butch" Fogel, Loretta Boulais, Mick Fogel and Beverly Lout; her grandson Gabriel Geist; and her great grandchild Kinsley Tietz.
She is survived by: her husband Morris Geist of Faulkton; her children, Tim Geist (Betty) of Conde, Jeff Geist (Rochelle) of Newell, Shelley Tietz of Faulkton and Terry (Jackie Moment) of Rapid City; her son-in-law Dan Melius of Miranda; her siblings, Dennis Fogel (Linda) of Aberdeen, Jim Fogel of Aberdeen, David Fogel (Carol) of Pequot Lakes, MN, Norman Fogel of Minneapolis, MN and Linda Fogel of Aberdeen; and her sisters-in-law, Alice DeVoss of Aberdeen and Shirley Masten of Custer. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
