He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Bent and Lena Bent (Ickler); his daughter Jacqueline; his siblings, Deloris Ford, Bonnie Meyer, Donna Schmidt and Charles Bent; and his brother-in-law Bud Ford.
He is survived by: his wife Maryann Pfeifer; his children, Tim Bent (Melissa) of Webster and Audrey Helm (Les) of Redfield; his grandchildren, Dalton Martchinske (Halie) of Miranda, Tristen Bent of Webster and Ciera Bent of Webster; his brother Dick Bent (JoAnn); and his brother-in-law Robert Meyer of Orient.
