He was predeceased by: his parents, Tilman Hanson and Edna Hanson (Grimm); his wife Margaret Eleanor Neilan; his brothers, Roger, Rockne and Nels; and his grandson Kyle Redden.
He is survived by: his children, Bradley Eugene (Wanda) of Faulkton, Brad, Timothy Hanson of Box Elder, Dawn Redden (Roger) of Faulkton and Wayne Hanson of Watertown; his grandchildren, Tyler, Turner, Todd (Kayla), Brady Hanson, Kayla Roseland (Slade), Kacee, Katie Redden, Kayleen McGrath, Brandi Jo and Logan Hanson; and his sister Peggy Schiedel of Yankton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and his cat.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the Faulkton Cemetery Association.
