It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Katherine Vopat (Faulkton, South Dakota), who passed away on April 28, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles DeVoss and Minnie DeVoss (Downard); her husband Lambert Vopat; her children, Barb Lindbloom, Pierre, Sandra McGrath and Ellen Selting; her sister-in-law Alice DeVoss; her children, Roger and MaryAnn Witte; and her sons-in-law, Harold Witte, Dennis Lindbloom, Patrick McGrath and Jim Selting. She was also cherished by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19, travel and other restrictions at this time, a small burial service will be held at the Faulkton Cemetery with Pastor Thomas Sumers presiding.
