With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Glenn J. Bode of Faulkton, South Dakota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Glenn left this world on April 4, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Bode and Catherine Bode (Blando); and his brother Fred Bode (Jean). He is survived by: his wife Gloria Wright; his sons, John Bode (Heather) of Faulkton, Matt Bode (Darchelle) of Sioux Falls and Adam Bode (Jessica) of Aberdeen; his grandchildren, Parker, Foster, Austin, Blakely, Henry and Nora; and his brothers, Art (Gayle Donovan), Ron (Glenda Balthazor) and Gary (LuAnn Wright).
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church (1013 Court St, Faulkton, SD 57438). A rosary was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Faulkton Area Medical Center Foundation Dr. Ken and Twyla Bartholomew Scholarship.
