He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Deiter and Gladys Deiter (Reed); and his daughter Diane. He is survived by: his wife Verna Miller; his daughter Cheryl Soyland; his grandchildren, Amy Beth Soyland (Charles) and Damon Muehl (Megan); his sister Arlene Jarvis (Mortimer); and his sister-in-law Jean Deiter. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
