He was predeceased by: his parents, Reinhold Kary and Frieda Kary (Junker); his siblings, Alvera, Jean, Alton (Selma), LeRoy, Don and Melvin; his brother-in-law Marvin Christman; and his niece Melissa Kary.
He is survived by: his sisters, Elda Christman of Eureka and Joyce Pfeiffer (Jerome) of Aberdeen, SD; and his sisters-in-law, Bonnie Kary of Eureka and Della M. Kary of Aberdeen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Rollie attended South Dakota School of Mines in Rapid City but due to his family needing him, he then returned to Eureka and worked at the family's business, Kary's Home Oil for his entire working career until he contracted Covid-19 and was hospitalized until his death.
