She was predeceased by: her parents, Katharina (Losing) and Henry A. Brenneise; her siblings, Emil, Johnathan, Kenas, Samuel, Nathan, Sara Liebelt, Adah Heinrich and Ruth Derkson; and her stepdaughter Julie Myers.
She is survived by: her former husband Gilbert Zumbaum; her husband Charles Bensen (Chuck); her children, Glenn Zumbaum (Wendy) of Little Rock, AR and Arlene Zumbaum Swenson of Leola; her grandchildren, Aaron, Taylor Zumbaum, Dusti and Hayley Swenson; her great grandchildren, Camron, Clover and Carter Zumbaum; her stepsons, John Bensen (Deanna) of Brandon, SD and Charles Bensen (Naomi) of Aberdeen, SD; and her daughters, Barbara Ross (John) of Prescott, AZ and Patricia Coker of Davis, CA. She is also survived by nine step grandchildren and eight step great-grandchildren.
