She was predeceased by: her mother Lorraine Mae Opp; her husband Howard Mettler; and her father Jacob. She is survived by: her children, Terrance E. Meidinger and Shirley M. Lund (Randy) of Sioux Falls; her siblings, Rheinhold Opp of St. Paul, MN, Lawrence Opp of Sioux Falls, Gloria Gilbert of Rapid City, SD and Geraldine Schnabel of Yankton, SD; and her grandchildren, Andrea, Erin Shah, Megan Meidinger, Jenae Lund, Evan Lund, Allison Mettler, Michael Mettler, Mat Suyama, Matthew Mettler, Alex Mettler and Maddie Mettler. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lien-Straub-Carlsen Chapel (702 8th St, Eureka, SD 57437). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Eureka Reformed Church (310 F Ave, Eureka, SD 57437).
