She was predeceased by: her parents, Paulina Martz (Wahl) and John Martz; her husband Harold Merkel; and her siblings, Bernard, Reuben, Oscar, Baldwin, Wilbert, Gary, Hildegard Martz, Olivia Collis, Jean Sellers, Agnes Krieg and Francis Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Merkel of Eureka and Kathy Davidson of Monticello, IL; her siblings, Evelyn Edwins of Lynnhaven, FL and Robert Martz of Ashley; her grandchildren, Rachel, Jess and Renee; and her great grandchildren, Eriss, Ryah and June. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
