She was predeceased by: her brothers, Edwin, Ernest, Gideon, Oscar and Walter; and her sisters-in-law, Tena, Olivia and Irene Schock.

She is survived by: her husband John L. Weisser; her daughter Linda Heiser (Floyd) of Aberdeen; and her grandchildren, Eric Heiser (Melanie Zuraff) of Sioux Falls and Susan Schaible-Heiser (Brian Biach) of Aberdeen.
