He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Ackerman (Pfeifle); his daughters, Monica Hilgemann (Wes) of Eureka and Jodi Gab McClain (Jack) of Playa Coronado, Panama; his sister Bonnie Mehrer of Sioux Falls, SD; his sister-in-law Marcella Gab of Eureka; his great grandchildren, Cash and Kollyns Hilgemann; his son-in-law Wes; and his brother Greg. He is also survived by two grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
