He is survived by: his siblings, James Ackerman (Alice), Fargo, Gary Ackerman (Merrill) of Eureka, Linda Ackerman of Eureka and Glorine Faye Fauth (Fargo); his nephews, David and Rick; and his niece Stacey Pringle.
