He was predeceased by: his parents, William Maeschen and Mary Maeschen (Loos); his siblings, Gerald, Gary and Anita Neugebauer; and his parents-in-law, Neal and Cecelia VanGorp.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie VanGorp; his pet Sasha; his children, Scott Maeschen (Janet), Dawn Johnsen (Larry), Kent Maeschen, Robert Maeschen (Krissy) and Denise Monsees (Johnny); and his sister LaVonne Hohn. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
