He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe R. Hutt and Gentina Hutt; his sister Martha Jane Patton (Phil); his brother-in-law Ron Foster; and his nephew Jeffrey Foster.
He is survived by: his significant other Darlene Pedersen of Estelline; his children, Duane Pedersen (Rhonda) of Platte, SD, Bryan Pedersen (Sandra) of Hayti, SD and Jerald Pedersen of Estelline; his sister Jeanette Foster of Estelline, SD; and his nieces and nephews, Lynn Schneider (John) of Holyoke, CO, Carla Clarke (Tom) of Estelline, Greg Patton (Denise) of Sioux Falls, SD and Todd Foster (Jolynn) of Brookings, SD. He is also survived by many cousins, great nieces, great nephews and friends.
