She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Stoltenberg and Martha Stoltenberg (Prueter); her husband Marvin Oppelt; her children, Ivan and Janice Kampmann; her stepgrandson Travis Ronfeldt; and her brother Herb Stoltenberg.
She is survived by: her children, Helen Sterud (Curt) of Brookings, Kenneth Oppelt of Sioux Falls, Carol Jongeling (Ken) of Oklahoma City, OK and Joyce Kepford (Tom) of Brookings; her children-in-law, Doug Kampmann of Elkton and Carrie Miller of Belle Fouche; and her sisters-in-law, Sandra Stoltenberg of Brookings and Marge Odegaard of Brookings. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
