He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Schleuter and Vera Schleuter (Weisel); and his siblings, Vernon Schleuter, Laurel Kaiser, Lois Stee and Darlene Teal.
He is survived by: his spouse Marj Krause; and his children, Randall Schleuter (Char) of Dell Rapids, SD, Rita DeBoer (Darrell), Roxann Westover (Mark), Paula Payne (Jim), Kimberly Harringa (Royce) and Jay Schleuter (Holly). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
