She was predeceased by: her parents, John Jonker and Della Jonker (Appel); her former husband Earl Henderschiedt; her siblings, Raymond, Albert and May; her son David; and her siblings-in-law, Lena, Verna, Herb Quam and Soren Bertelsen.
She is survived by: her husband Rev. Raymond Torgersen of Estelline; her sons, Alvin Henderschiedt (Janet) of Lake Poinsett, SD, Paul Torgersen (Carmen) of St. Louis Park, MN and John Torgersen (Debby) of Ann Arbor, MI; and her sister Marjorie Quam of Brookings, SD.. She is also survived by three grandchildren; four great grandchildren, one great great grandchild.
