He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Brandsrud (Biwer) and Alfred Brandsrud; his brother Bertil; and his sister-in-law Cindy. He is survived by: his wife Diane Bruinsma; his children, Dale (Lori) of Scottsdale, AZ, Gene (Cristy Anderson) of Sioux Falls, Chad of Somerset, SD, Boyd (Theresa) of Brandon, SD, Ross (Rosie) of Estelline and Gale Lien (Scott) of Bowdle; and his nephew Wade Brandsrud of Estelline. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; one step granddaughter.
