It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delores Begalka of Estelline, South Dakota, who passed away on November 7, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Delores departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Delores may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Delores leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Claas Saathoff and Vera Saathoff (Wattawa); her husband Rolland Begalka; her siblings, Harold, Janet and Mable; and her son-in-law Ronnie Kaufman (Don Jorvig).
She is survived by: her children, Kenny (Cheryl) of Clear Lake, Kathy Kaufman of Oldham, Gale (Kay) of Castlewood and Donnie (Stacy) of Castlewood; and her sister Myrt Harvey of White. She is also survived by 10 grand-daughters, 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Estelline Community Church (203 Davis Ave E, Estelline, SD 57234). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
