He was predeceased by: his parents, Obed Iverson-Wilcox and Dorothy Iverson-Wilcox (Yahn); his wife Vada Kruse (Swedlund); his siblings, Sylvia, Mary and Duane; his stepsons, David and Danny; his stepdaughter-in-law Wanda; and his stepgrandson Scott.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Dennis Kruse (Nettie) of Brookings, SD, Dwight Kruse (Marilyn) of Brookings, SD, Debra Stewart (Dave) of Brookings, SD and Sue Weinberg (Kenneth) of Brookings, SD; his stepdaughter-in-law Julie Kruse of Brookings, SD; his sisters, Peggy Kasten (Richard) of Hazel, SD, Jean Bush (Robert) of Sioux Falls, SD and Janet Sandbakken (Rob) of Wilmont, SD; and his brothers-in-law, Donald Woodhouse of California and Allan Shinddecker of California. He is also survived by 17 step-grandchildren; 32 great step-grandchildren.
