She was predeceased by: her parents, Johannas Boender and Rena Boender (DeBoer); her husband Gerret Verhoek; her son Harold; and her siblings, Claude, Henry, John, Lucretia and Adriana.
She is survived by: her son Gary Verhoek (Kathy) of Estelline, SD; her grandsons, Chris and Adam; her great grandchild Jack; and her sister Josephine VanOort of Denver, CO. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
