He is survived by: his mother-in-law JoAnn Hemmer; his wife Tina Nielsen of Erwin, SD; his children, Dana Grieve (Trevor) of Huron, SD, Danielle Walraven (Adam) of Lemmon, SD, Dustin Walraven (Anna) of Watertown, SD and Derrick Walraven (Devin) of Harrisburg, SD; his grandchildren, Conner, Payton, Henley, Cohen, Paige, Gage, Leo, Lily, Ray Lynn, Tessa and Jaxon; his sister Shelly Dekam (Sherwin) of Castlewood, SD; his aunts, Lillian Kurkela of Estelline, SD and Caroleen Boeder (Maynard) of St. Cloud, MN; and his uncle Thomas Walraven of Minneapolis, MN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
